Composite Resin Bonding / Veneers
Composite bonding is a cosmetic technique where composite resin is shaped and moulded and bonded on your teeth to give the appearance of an unblemished tooth. It can be used as a cosmetic solution to chipped teeth, gapped teeth and staining in both teeth and fillings.
Composite resin veneers involve the same technique as composite bonding but the composite resin is applied on the entire front surface of the tooth. Usually no or very little tooth structure is removed in comparison to a porcelain veneer. In certain cases a pre-pressed composite shell can be used to give a more similar appearance to a porcelain veneer.
