Bonded Fillings and Tooth Fillings
Bonded fillings ‘white fillings’ are an effective way of treating a host of cavity-related issues in front and back teeth. We use a matching, tooth-coloured filling to bond with the surface of the tooth, allowing us to reshape the tooth surface while maintaining an aesthetically, natural appearance.
Composite resin and glass ionomer fillings are not limited to new cavities. They can be used to repair and replace older restorations which have broken. In some cases we use other restorations and crowns when bonded fillings are unable to placed, such as when there is inadequate tooth structure to bond to, or inadequate moisture control during the procedure.
