Partial and Full Dentures
A partial denture replaces either one or a group of lost teeth on the upper or lower jaw. It attaches to the remaining teeth with either metal clasps or precision attachments.
Full dentures are a total replacement for either the upper or lower teeth, or both.
In both cases, teeth can be removed, and the partial or full denture can be placed at the same time. This is called an immediate denture. Sometimes the gum tissue can be allowed to undergo preliminary healing after the teeth are taken out before the dentures are placed in the mouth.
We can advise whether one of these solutions is right for you.
All of our dentures are constructed in a local Brisbane dental laboratory rather than being sent to an overseas laboratory. This allows us to work in close collaboration with dental technicians to ensure the best design and fit for each individual patient.
