Dental Examinations/Check up

During a dental exam, your dentist will check for cavities and gum disease and will evaluate your risk of developing other oral health problems. They will also check your face, neck and mouth for abnormalities and might recommend other diagnostic procedures such as dental x-rays (radiographs).

We will also likely discuss your medical health, medication and supplements and how they can affect your oral health. We will also discuss diet and oral hygiene habits and demonstrate proper brushing and interproximal cleaning techniques such as flossing. Other topics for discussion might include lifestyle factors that can affect oral health and possible cosmetic improvements to your teeth.
